thrifted threads...boss of the plains

wow... another what i wore wednesday already...

 since i am here in cowtown, alberta,

i went through my sister's closet to try on some cowtown attire...

despite the resulting hat head/ hat hair... i love wearing them.

for this thrifted thread post, i'm channeling the rodeo spirit within me 

and showcasing some beautiful cowboy hats : in black, in camel, and in white leather

the brims of all three hats are so wide,

they are sure to provide great protection from the prairie elements. 

(well... maybe not against those occasional summer golf ball size hail storms)

for the rest of my thrifted thread outfit,

 i'm wearing a cotton stripe dress and a jean dress/jacket.  

while both pieces were thrifted a few years back, 

i choice them to complete a western rodeo look.

what do you think?

don't i look ready for some line dancing....
or some serious roaming with the deer and the antelope???
