thrifted threads: creature of comfort

sometimes it's really tempting to spend all day in sweats or workout pants,
but luckily there are plenty of other options for comfortable clothing
that can look good without making you appear as though
you didn't put much effort into getting dressed.

most of my wardrobe fall into this category !!!

in all three outfits, i'm wearing flared cotton pants paired with loose cotton long sleeve tops.
these combinations are so comfy...
i'll wear them on a trans-atlantic flight there and back !!

99.999% of my wardrobe are either thrifted or hand-me-downs
with most of the labels taken off,
so my guess is as good as yours as to their sources.

little did i know that i was actually in vogue (LOL.)
at least, this is what i sped read from a copy of in style magazine
while i waited in line at the grocery store.

"as the noughties reached double figures,
'off duty' is style's favourite buzzword."

'off duty' style includes the clothes celebrities wore on coffee runs,
while grocery shopping, en route to kabbalah centres, while picking up children.

and this style, rather than the red carpet gowns, is now under the fashion media microscope.
thus the seeds for comfort dressing began to take hold.

YAY !!!

it doesn't really matter to me what the fashion industry dictates...
i've been dressing like this forever...
but it's nice to know that if i wanted more of the same... it's out there...

what type of clothes do you feel most comfortable in?
