thrifted threads: pink and salmon

today, i link up with lindsey for some fashion fun.

we were at the gardens in government house on the weekend

and found this amazing flowering shrub.

it had the most beautiful and fragrant pink and salmon colour blossoms.

i would appreciate it very much, if someone would tell me what it is?

talking about pink and salmon....

i found this thrifted  quilted cardigan sometime last summer,

and am so happy that i have finally been able to wear it.

it is so soft and comfortable and perfect for spring.

i've layered it over a simple cotton crew neck t-shirt and add jeans

with the school year ending... 

we have been busy with year-end recitals and performances.

last night was the first of two dance performances at my teens' high school

it was an incredible show !!!

with an auditorium packed with parents and students, it got really really warm...

so i am glad i was able to delayer during the show

but i appreciated the warmth of the cardigan again for the walk home.
