most of yesterday, we spent sitting out back,
with freshly brewed coffee in our cups.
when suddenly the urge came over him
oh... there he goes...
straight to the source
a full body inhale...
at least three or four long gulps
and maybe one more ...
he must have gotten up from his chair at least two or three times...
he just couldn't get enough
the scent of lilac is ian's favourite.
we will be out there again today
spending time with the birds and the lilacs.

Oh how wonderful! I love lilacs, and we have a whole bunch the grow wild along the borders of our property. I can't wait for June....it will be another month before they bloom here. Enjoy! xo
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful and I quite understand getting up to inhale their scent. I am enjoying the honeysuckle and the little white flowers [I never remember their name] that are filling the air around here.
