i'm running out of places to photograph this fuchsia scrap blanket.
i thought i was done and then i found more scrap yarn to use up.
it should be finished this week-thank goodness, because it is getting too heavy to lug around.
but here it is again , this time basking amongst the wisteria.
i finished martin pistorius' ghost boy.
i picked up this book expecting to read a story about overcoming obstacles but instead got to read a very honest and well-written account of what it is like to be human and the struggle to connect with others.
pistorius' story is amazing - i found it hard to put down - you will want to read this autobiography for sure.
i'm still working through gillian flynn's gone girl.
i almost returned it to the library because i was getting very frustrated and annoyed with the main characters, but decided to continue on because i found out that there is a movie version (with ben affleck).
i'm a can't see the movie until i finish the book kind of person.
finally, i picked up kim thuy's ru yesterday
i'm so excited to read this governor general's literary award winner and it also won canada reads this past year. did you hear her interview on cbc? she was remarkable !!!
i'll tell you what i think next week....
what are you knitting/reading?
care to share?
