baking with love

i'm early for once

my valentine cookies are done (and almost gone)

well... at least my first batch are!!!

i found an easy recipe on pinterest and had to try it

i had made a couple of substitutes: 

instead of strawberry cake mix ( i don't think strawberry exist in canada), 

i used a cherry and added  1/2 package strawberry jello mix

and instead of chocolate chips... white chocolate chips

they turned out really yummy and pretty to boot !!!

with three cookie monsters in the house, 

they didn't last very long.

so,  i'm baking a second batch this afternoon...

this time i think i'll hide some oat bran in the mix.
