fun stuff: yay for purple

upon seeing our car in the drive way,
a wonderful friend and neighbour came over for a quick visit
and to hear a few highlights about our paris adventure
(lucky her...she wasn't inundated by all my photo posts on facebook)

she also brought me a bag of her left over yarn...with tons of purple!!!
so thanks to ellen (xoxoxo), i've casted on another scrap blanket.
(my sunny paris blanket is still in the suitcase)
also, after a quick visit to our local library and browsing the shelves,
i picked up and started reading kline's orphan train.

so far i haven't been able to put it down!!!

  7. Love that purple! I'm also highly amused by your library's ad campaign sticker. It never occurred to me to think of the fine on an overdue book as a daily rental fee.
