can you feel the light changing?
i'm up at my usual time in the morning,
but now harlow and i wake up in darkness again
and i dress not really knowing what i'm putting on.
i'm one of those individuals greatly affected by light.
i spent a lot of time in paris admiring the windows instead of the art on the walls !!
the windows were huge, going from floor to ceiling,
some of which were at least 30 feet high.
since we bought our home, the light has more than doubled because
i've convinced ian to punch out some/most of our walls in exchange for windows.
i really rather enjoy living in a fish bowl.

soon... i will need to get new batteries
for the flashlight i carry on my morning walks with harlow.
soon...but not quite yet (i can still spot his business without the aid of a strobe)!!!

Oh, these shortening days are hard to face.
ReplyDeleteMore light streaming into your home, how lovely! I have noticed the changing light too, it is dark when I get up in the morning, and dark when I put Reece to bed now. I have to admit I like the shift, as we move towards less light and more darkness I look forward to evenings of candlelight, fires, and cups and cups of tea :)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend Erica.
