while the kids were in yoga,
harlow, ian and i explored fan tan alley in victoria's china town.
it is now our wednesday afternoon kind-of-a-date-thingy happening.
just enough time to check in with each other,
to see if we are still laughing at the same jokes,
if we are still surfing the same channels,
and still on the same page of this book of married life.

we hardly ever go downtown these days.
our free time is usually spent roaming the beaches, gardens or provincial parks.
but this part of old downtown victoria is really unique and charming.
did you know that fan tan alley is the narrowest street in canada?
